Windsor University School of Medicine is an accredited medical school located on the beautiful island of St. Kitts. The institution aims to provide an environment for students to study medicine. There are 17 acres of campus facilities to study basic sciences, prepare for the USMLE examinations, and transition into clinical rotations. The school provides affordable medical education to help accomplish the dream of becoming a physician for many students. Upon completion of the premedical and/or Doctorate of Medicine (MD) program, students move on to 72 weeks of clinical rotations in the United States. In addition to mentorship and tutoring, the school of medicine offers a good student to teacher ratio. There are numerous organizations available to develop further knowledge, leadership and clinical skills. Windsor University makes it a goal to graduate well-rounded physicians for residency and beyond.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, faculty and staff, I wish to thank you for considering Windsor
University School of Medicine. Founded in 1998 WUSM has a tradition of providing an outstanding
medical education and endeavor to prospective physicians worldwide for a reasonable tuition.
Windsor University School of Medicine is constantly building upon its reputation as one of the leaders
in international medical education. WUSM is comprised of an excellent faculty and facilities located
at Brighton’s Estate on the island of St Kitts, West Indies.
Our graduates successfully practice across the United States, Canada, Africa, India and the Caribbean
Region. This demonstrates the depth, breadth and quality of our medical curriculum (MD 1-10),
dedicated faculty, and new facilities at our St Kitts Brighton’s Estate campus.
The Pre-Med Curriculum (Pre-MD 1,2 & 3) builds a strong academic science foundation for our
students to successfully complete the requirements for admission into WUSM consisting of 10
semesters. Our basic science curriculum in addition to our fifth semester (USMLE preparation and
Intense Introduction to Clinical Medicine) prepares our students to sit for the USMLE Step 1 National
Exam in order to qualify for ACGME rotations in our Affiliated US teaching hospitals.

HOUSING
Windsor University School of Medicine Housing Department helps students secure the right accommodations to suit each individual’s needs.
Most of our housing is located in safe and secured areas that are only 20 25 minutes drive away from our campus. We also have accommodations located close to campus.
Apartments are fully furnished, students would only need to bring towels, cups, plates, their personal needs, and clothing.
Windsor University also has an agreement with Royal St. Kitts Beach Hotel, Sugar Bay Resort, and Bird Rock Beach Hotel to provide housing and other facilities for our students. Each room includes one bed, desk with chair, television with cable TV, and a small refrigerator. Their amenities include, restaurants, gym, study lounge, and general kitchen.
Double occupancy rooms include two beds.
The Royal St. Kitts Beach Hotel and Sugar Bay Resort are located in Frigate Bay. Bird Rock Beach Hotel is located in Bird Rock. The University provides subsidized transportation for all Windsor students.

The Housing Department
Windsor University Housing Department staff works closely with students to select housing. The Housing Department’s hours of operation are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.

TRANSFER STUDENTS
If positions are available and permitted for students in good standing as a World Directory of Medical Schools listed medical school, then transfer is accommodated during the basic sciences semester or prior to beginning the clinical clerkship. All transfers must take the Windsor placement analysis comprehension component.

* International students (Non-US/Non-Canada) must submit WES evaluation of transcript.

General Biology, Physiology or Zoology with laboratory or computer simulation [2 semesters or 8 credit hours]

AFFORDABLE EDUCATION
Premedical Semesters: USD $4490
Basic Science Semesters (MD 1-4): USD $6610 Clinical Science Semesters (MD 5-10): USD $7940
- Application Fee: $75 application fee is nonrefundable and payable upon submission.
- Administrative Fee: $100/semester
- Lab Fee (For Basic Science semesters): $250/semester
- Health Insurance Fee: $150/semester – Students must have health insurance while enrolled at Windsor University School of Medicine.
- Student Government Association: $50/semester
- Examination Fee: $200/semester
- Graduation Fee: $750 (Commencement Ceremony Registration included)
- Final Clinical Exam Fee: $500
- Refundable Text Book Deposit: $300
- Becker Professional Education Fee: $500/semester (MD 1-5)
- Acceptance Deposit: Upon acceptance students are required to pay an initial deposit of $500 USD. This deposit is required within two weeks after the date of acceptance and will be credited towards the tuition fee.
- International students must pay a refundable security deposit of $6000 USD

TUITION AND FEES
DR. SRINIVAS GADDAM FOUNDER ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP
In memory of our founder and past president, Dr. Srinivas Gaddam, Windsor University School of Medicine has established an academic scholarship. Those students selected will receive $500 per basic science semester (applied to the tuition).
Prospective students will receive this competitive scholarship based on an overall
GPA of 3.2 from previous institution, interview, and submission of any application material (personal statement, letters of recommendation, etc).
This academic scholarship must be maintained with a overall GPA of 3.5 through out the basic science curriculum.
CLINICAL ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP
Award: USMLE Prep Course and/or material
- Current clinical students must receive 230 on Step 1. Exam must be taken within 4 months after MD 5.
- In order to continue to be eligible for the scholarship, clinical students must maintain with minimum 230 on Step 2 as well. Step 2 must be taken by the end of MD 8.
- Transfer students need to show minimum score of 230 on Step 1 and/or Step 2 from previous institution.
- All those interested may speak to the clinical department for consideration
