Voronezh State Medical University (VSMU) is one of Russia’s oldest and most prestigious medical universities, renowned for its excellence in medical education, research, and healthcare training. Established as an independent medical institute in 1930, the university was granted Academy status in 1994 and has since earned a strong reputation among the top medical universities in Russia.

With a student population of around 5,000, VSMU has educated more than 40,000 medical professionals, including international students from over 56 countries across Europe, Asia, and Africa.
